Unreported World reveals the stories of the young indigenous girls forced into motherhood after being raped and sexually assaulted. Isolated girls are particularly vulnerable, with no phone signal, and no neighbours.
In 2020, an average of 13 girls aged 10-14 became pregnant through rape in Guatemala every day. The cries of these young girls go unheard, reporter Anja Popp explores how the justice system appears to be failing these girls and learns that only three per cent of reported sexual violence cases are investigated.
Some girls are abandoned by their family due to shame with a few pressured to live with their abusers. But there are a handful of people and organisations trying to make a difference and teach young girls to understand their bodies and resist the cycle of abuse.

A deep dive into the history, influence, and music of the groundbreaking punk rock band, The Sex Pistols. Although their initial career lasted just two and a half years, they were one of the most important acts in the history of popular music and pop culture. Their fashion and hairstyles were a significant influence on punk image, and they are often associated with anarchism within music.

The Sex Pistols were an English punk rock band formed in London in 1975. They were responsible for initiating the punk movement in the United Kingdom and inspiring many later punk and alternative rock musicians.
The Sex Pistols originally comprised vocalist Johnny Rotten (John Lydon), guitarist Steve Jones, drummer Paul Cook, and bassist Glen Matlock; Matlock was replaced by Sid Vicious in early 1977. Under the management of Malcolm McLaren, the band attracted some controversies that both captivated and appalled Britain. Through an obscenity-laced television interview in December 1976 and their May 1977 single "God Save the Queen", the latter of which attacked Britons' social conformity and deference to the Crown, calling the monarchy a "fascist regime". The release of the song popularised punk rock in the UK.
The Sex Pistols' only album, Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols (1977) — a UK number one — is a staple record of punk rock. In January 1978, at the end of their turbulent tour of the US, Rotten announced the band's break-up. Over the next few months, the three remaining members recorded songs for McLaren's film of the Sex Pistols' story, The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle.
The Sex Pistols have been recognized as an influential band. In 2004, Rolling Stone placed them No. 58 on its list of the "100 Greatest Artists of All Time". On 24 February 2006, the Sex Pistols—, also directly inspired the style, and often the formation itself, of many punk and post-punk bands during their first two-and-a-half-year run. The Clash, Siouxsie and the Banshees, the Adverts, Vic Godard of Subway Sect, and Ari Up of the Slits are among those in London's "inner circle" of early punk bands that credit the Pistols.
Among the many musicians of a later time who have acknowledged their debt to the Pistols are members of the Jesus and Mary Chain, NOFX, The Stone Roses, Guns N' Roses, Nirvana, Green Day, and Oasis. Tim Mohr links Western radio airplay of the Sex Pistols as helping create the whole East German punk movement. Calling the band "immensely influential", a London College of Music study guide notes that "many styles of popular music, such as grunge, indie, thrash metal and even rap owe their foundations to the legacy of groundbreaking punk bands—of which the Sex Pistols was the most prominent."

"Speaking the Unspeakable" tells two survivors' stories. Michael Mack and his brother Knight Chamberlain have very different assault stories, but share some of the common characteristics of child sexual abuse; the guilt and shame felt by survivors, the fear of speaking out, the pain of keeping it secret and the manipulation of abusers who count on their victims' silence.
Experts estimate that one in four girls and one in six boys have been sexually abused. They say the actual numbers are probably much higher since many cases go unreported.
Many victims keep the abuse a secret out of shame or guilt, or sometimes fear of repercussions from their abuser. It’s that secrecy that makes the problem far worse, not only for the victims, but also for society as a whole. How can we solve problems if we don’t talk about them, whether within our family, our community or our country?

Cyborg presenter James Young journey’s across the world to meet the makers and users of sex robots who have plans for a Westworld future where sex bots live amongst us.
In Barcelona, James visits Dr Sergi Santos and his wife Maritza, creators of one of the world’s most advanced sex robots and the answer, they suggest, to many couple’s miss-matched libido. Sergei tests out his latest robot and James finds out how Maritza copes with Sergei using the dolls himself.
Elsewhere in Barcelona James also finds simple versions of the robots, not yet fitted with AI, being used in a brothel and visits a professional sex toy tester who tries out one of the latest male sex dolls to hit the market.
Back in the UK, James visits Sergei’s business partner Arran who has been demo’ing a Samantha robot in a sex shop near Liverpool. Arran tells James about his latest plan - to offer his sex robots to elderly people’s homes.
In Japan, James meets two of the most human-like robots to have been created before discovering a darker side to the sex robot industry when he visits a factory mass-producing ultra-realistic dolls.

Some parents in India practice the Devadasi tradition, selling their daughters into a life of prostitution, often around the age of 10.

We traveled to the Indian city of Sangli to meet a group of bolshy sex workers selling their bodies in the name of the Hindu Goddess Yellamma. Local sex worker Anitha invites us for lunch in her brothel; shows us her homemade "sex rooms," and tells us what it's like to be a religious prostitute in modern India.
Afterwards we cross the border into Karnataka into the heartlands of the ancient Devadasi tradition to uncover the mystery of the Goddess Yellamma, and find out how a religious icon became a justification for child prostitution. We meet two teenage Devadasis, Mala and Belavva, to talk sex, saris, and how they cope with the deadly threat of HIV.
A dancing transvestite Devadasi steals the limelight in the next phase of our journey, as we travel deeper into the murky world of temple prostitution. He invites us for chai, gives our host a manicure, and teaches us a few tricks of the trade. We explore the home of the most celebrated Devadasi brothel madam in the business to find out how she lures the next generation of girls into the sex trade.
For the grand finale we went to the annual full moon festival in Saundatti, the most prestigious event in the Devadasi calendar. The colour, dancing and celebrations of the festival disguise the darkness of its underlying purpose: child sex trafficking. Here traffickers, pimps and brothel madams come from all over India to recruit young girls and boys into the sex trade in the name of the Goddess Yellamma. On our way home, we are invited to a remote mud hut to meet two older Devadasi women a mother and daughter who reflect back on their lives and ask the question: what kind of religion turns parents into pimps and their children into prostitutes?

In the isolated desert town of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico operated one of the most sadistic sexual predators ever encountered by law enforcement. He may also have been one of the country's most prolific serial killers. Perhaps David Parker Ray lacks the instant name recognition of a Ted Bundy or a Jeffrey Dahmer, but his unspeakable crimes are no less heinous for the families of his victims, the investigators who worked feverishly in their quest to imprison him, and the traumatized women who were fortunate enough to survive his wraith. This provocative and disturbing documentary, The Sex Chamber, retraces Ray's long-hidden reign of terror.
A 59-year old mechanic and father of two, Ray was generally regarded as a highly intelligent, pleasant and upstanding member of his close-knit community. Amongst those who believed they knew him best, he was the last person they would categorize as a sexual torturer of women. The depth of his psychosis first came to light when a young prostitute was discovered nude, chained and screaming hysterically for someone to call the authorities.
Her story was harrowing. She claimed to have been kidnapped by Ray, kept in his home for three days and repeatedly molested and tortured before managing her narrow escape. When the police searched Ray's property, they discovered a gruesome environment that fully corroborated the victim's story, including a utility shed where he kept a large inventory of elaborate sexual torture devices.
What first appeared to be an open and shut case proved to be anything but. Ray was a mastermind at covering his tracks. This was a talent that had served him well over the course of 40 years, during which time he likely confiscated, raped and murdered countless women. Additionally, he is believed to have subdued his victims with a potent cocktail of memory-erasing drugs. This left obvious holes in the accounts of his accusers, and gave him the leeway to characterize each assault as consensual.
The filmmakers speak with the original investigators who first happened upon the torture chamber, the defense attorney who worked on Ray's behalf in spite of the certainty he had of his client's guilt, and a key witness for the prosecution who struggled to recount the painful details of her molestation in court.
The Sex Chamber is definitely not intended for the faint of heart as it contains sexually explicit language and graphic crime scene footage.

31 JANUARY 2019 DRAGAN WAS FOUND GUILTY OF 7 COUNTS OF RAPES OF CHILDREN AND 4 COUNTS OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING - HE HAS BEEN REMANDED INTO CUSTODY AND Has received a collective sentence of 90 years in prison which will run concurrently. He will actively sit in prison for 35 years..
This documentary was used in evidence in that case and the purpose of making it was to assist the defence in establishing a long term modus operandi. It was instrumental in obtaining the child tafficing convictions as it effectively matched the MO that the victims described to the MO explored in this film.

Dragan's Lair is a documentary project where I examine the relationship and the child grooming between paedophiles and their victims.
I use my own childhood experience with my ex step-father as an example of such a relationship.

THE BACKSTORY
Dragan Vujicin, the paedophilic step-father met my mother at a vulnerable time of her life when I was 2 years old.
My mother was vulnerable because she had very recently got divorced from my father and in that divorce, my older brother and sister had moved overseas with our father. I was alone with Mum and her new boyfriend Dragan until I was 9 and my sister 13. Only then did she come to live with us and he started abusing her too.
My older sister, Sophy spent the first 7 years of this relationship living with our biological father, and only came to live with us when she was 13. This is very relevant to the story as I will explain shortly.
From day one, Dragan groomed both my mother and I. He groomed my mother into believing that he would be the perfect ‘father-figure’ that I was now missing. He led her to believe that he would be a good ‘father’ and that he would support her emotionally through her difficult time. He also encouraged my mum to keep as busy as possible. Enabling her to work multiple jobs that would keep her physically out of the house - laying the ground open for the task of child grooming me.
I was two when he started preparing me for sexual activity. At first it started with nudity and the exploration of self. He taught me to be comfortable with both my and his nudity around the house. He normalised this behaviour.
He then started bathing me. He framed in in a way that he was ‘helping’ my mother with her parental chores. There was nothing obviously out of the ordinary. There was no reason for alarm bells.
There was a late night incident that he talks about when I was two about ‘grabbing for his erect penis’ in the bath. Whilst a similar incident did occur, it certainly did not occur in the way in which he suggested.
He was having a romantic moment with my mother in the bathroom way after midnight whilst I was asleep. Whilst they were in their private moment, I walked into the bathroom (as small children do) to go to the bathroom.
He says that I reached for his penis and my mother said that he should allow me to. This was not quite the case. What my mum actually said was not to draw attention to it and not to make any major movements, so as not to fully awaken me from my sleepiness. She then guided me with my innocence in tact back to bed.
He has since created a sexual fantasy about this incident and has recreated in his mind to the story that he tells today.
Years later, my older sister came to live with us. By then I had been enduring long term paedophilia by my child abusing parent. She posed a threat to him. So her introduction to this was a lot less gradual and also started when she was a teenager.
The interesting thing about exploring this true child abuse story, is seeing the difference on the dynamic for a small child long term experience and a teenage short term experience.
It also showcases the difference between two child abuse survivors who have handled their experiences in different ways. Where I have sought many years of very active psychological therapy and studying the motivation behind child sexual abuse cases, my sister has had a very different journey of overcoming her child sexual abuse.
The film is interspersed with the wisdom of the highly acclaimed and most qualified Professor Marcel Londt, who has spent over 30 years of her career studying child sexual abuse perpetrators, as well as the immediate and long term impact of child abuse.

Women Sex Slaves of the Catholic Church is a very important documentary about a serious taboo that has been broken recently. The film shines a light on sexual abuse of nuns by priests and reveals that thousands of nuns were sexually abused for decades by priests around the world. Women have endured years of sexual predation, becoming pregnant, being forced to have abortions. Here they openly testify and break the "omerta" on a subject that has been drowning in the Catholic church for decades.
From 1994 until 2015 the Vatican was alerted by internal confidential reports about churchmen that regularly rape nuns in more than 23 countries. These reports have been hushed up and the rapists continue to harm freely. With the complicity of the ecclesiastical courts, their victims have been reduced to silence, sometimes pushed to abort, often excluded from their community.
Pope Francis admitted as early as February 2019, that "Priests and Bishops" had committed sexual assaults on nuns. Following the revelations of sexual abuse, more nuns have begun to speak out and denounce the attacks they have been subjected to. One can't help but be curious that the Pope makes this public statement when he knows the film will come out...
It's interesting to see these nuns whose ages are different, find the courage to break the silence on camera to testify to these systemic sexual abuses. French director Marie-Pierre Raimbault collaborated with investigative journalist Eric Quintin for more than three years, to obtain the firsthand accounts of those nuns who claim they were used as sex slaves by Catholic priests.
This is yet another scandal which is engulfing the Catholic Church. At a time when the Vatican has taken its most concrete steps to address a long ordeal with sex abuse and cover-ups, a growing chorus of nuns is speaking out about the suffering they have endured at the hands of the priesthood, including rape, forced abortion, emotional abuse and labor exploitation.
We applaud each and every woman for her courage. It's never easy to speak up.

Drawing on interviews with the women themselves, an attorney for the federal agency that enforces sexual harassment laws in the workplace and a watchdog group that monitors workplace conditions for janitors, the investigation sheds light on an underreported problem — and reveals how employers have fallen short in dealing with it.

Richard Dawkins examines sin. He asks whether the old religious rules about what is right and wrong are helpful and explores what science can tell us about how to be good.
Dawkins journeys from riot-torn inner city London to America's Bible Belt, building a powerful argument that religion's absolutist moral codes fuel lies and guilt.
He finds the most extreme example in a Paris plastic surgery clinic that specialises in making Muslim brides appear to be virgins once again.
But what can science and reason tell us about morality? Through encounters with lemurs, tango dancers, the gay rights campaigner Matthew Parris and the scientist Steven Pinker, Dawkins investigates the deeper roots of moral behaviour in our evolutionary past.
He explores the rituals that surround mating and the science of disgust and taboo. Drawing on crime data and insights from neuroscience, he argues that our evolved senses of reason and empathy appear to be making us more and more moral, even as religious observance declines.

Just Melvin, Just Evil is one of the most disturbing documentaries you'll ever see. It is a very hard to find documentary about the tormented family of Melvin Just, a man almost too evil to be believed. In it, they detail their experiences of abuse over decades, at his hands, even admitting to knowing of a murder he committed to keep his crimes quiet.
Four generations of sexual abuse, substance abuse, terrible secrets, neglect, and violence are explored in the story of Melvin Just: Just Melvin, Just Evil. In a large American family ravaged by alcohol and suppressed trauma, it seems that only one member "made it out." This man is James Ronald Whitney, who was brave enough to use this documentary as an outlet to explore his family's history, searching for answers (and closure) to the horror suffered by himself and his relatives. We are severely disturbed by this film.

Long before Chris Dawson was found to be a murderer and a child sex offender, he and his identical twin Paul were minor celebrities around Sydney’s Northern Beaches. The pair was extremely close. They were both handsome rugby league players and models who became high school physical education teachers. But in 1982 Chris murdered his wife Lynette. The crime went unsolved for 40 years, as did the fact he was having an affair with a 16-year-old pupil at the time.
In a major 60 MINUTES investigation Tom Steinfort reveals staggering, serious accusations about the other twin, Paul Dawson, namely that back in the 1980s he too was having sex with at least one and possibly more of his underage students.

In today's video we will talk about the Dark side of Dubai. Dubai is a refuge for a lavish lifestyle and world-class shopping, in addition to having the world's tallest building and valuable oil deposits.
A typical Emirati lifestyle might include having the privilege of driving a Ferrari and having at least one maid per household. Furthermore, Dubai serves as a safe haven for Arabs fleeing authoritarian regimes in their own countries.
However, there is a terrible reality hidden behind this dazzling exterior that the rest of the world may not be aware of: thousands of skyscrapers in Dubai are constructed by migrant workers!
Over the 2014 Christmas holiday something interesting happened, Etihad Airways had a glitch fare from the States to Abu Dhabi for $230 roundtrip! People all over the United States texted, tweeted, and called everyone they knew sharing the deal which resulted in a mass exodus of Americans headed to the United Arab Emirates. Arriving in the Abu Dhabi International Airport, many guests opted to take the complimentary hour long Etihad luxury shuttle to Dubai where they were greeted with towering modern skyscrapers, a vast highway filled with every luxury automobile imaginable and twinkling lights that filled the city. Naturally It was an array of visual stimulation, as Dubai is instantly entrancing. From the hotels to the restaurants and of course the shopping, Dubai is a luxurious modern Oasis in the middle of the desert. It’s hard not to fall in love. But behind the amazing service and awe striking architecture, there’s a darker side to Dubai that’s not on any brochure.
Among other documentaries about Dubai’s not so glamorous uprising, BBC’s Ben Anderson spent months in Dubai trying to infiltrate the community of expatriate workers who are putting them up.
According to Vice News, "what he discovered when he eventually got in was that the gem of the Arab world is almost entirely built on imported slave labor."
Expats from Bangladesh and India are drawn to Dubai by promises of a better quality of life, greater income, and limitless chances. Workers are compelled to work 12 hour days for very little pay six days a week after paying high-priced illegal Visa fees and then being stripped of their passports. Their living conditions are terrible, and they're trapped on the gloomy outskirts of the new world's most dazzling metropolis.
Expats from all over the world, especially from South Asia, make up more than 95% of Dubai's population. The majority of people have moved to Dubai with the hopes of a better future. However, their passports may be seized by airport security or companies upon arrival in an attempt to prevent them from leaving; and migrants are transferred to Sonapur, on the outskirts of Dubai, far from the city's flash and gloss.
In the most basic accommodations, more than five people live in a tight room with limited access to power. Workers frequently become ill since the water supply in the camps is not purified.
In addition, the rooms are typically plagued with rodents and insects due to a lack of ventilation!
Employees have been obliged to accept whatever wages they are paid by their employers as a result of the government's refusal to intervene in pay regulation or establish minimum working standards for migrant workers. There isn't even a bureau where they can file complaints, and refusing to work might lead to deportation or worse, jail. Migrant workers are also compelled to work in oppressive heat, with temperatures regularly exceeding fifty degrees Celsius. The government closes down tourist attractions during excessive heat, but workers are required to continue working.
As a result, it is unsurprising that the suicide rate among the Asian community in Dubai has been rising in recent years. On average, there are roughly two …
