ঝালকাঠির নলছিটি উপজেলার কৃতী সন্তান মো. খালেদ সাইফুল্লাহ অর্জন করেছেন তরুণ স্বেচ্ছাসেবীদের সর্বোচ্চ রাষ্ট্রীয় স্বীকৃতি “ইয়ুথ ভলান্টিয়ার অ্যাওয়ার্ড”। সোমবার (১৫ সেপ্টেম্বর) রাজধানীর তেজগাঁওয়ে প্রধান উপদেষ্টার কার্যালয়ের শাপলা হল মিলনায়তনে আয়োজিত অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন মাননীয় প্রধান উপদেষ্টা প্রফেসর ড. মুহাম্মদ ইউনুস। তিনি খালেদ সাইফুল্লাহর হাতে ক্রেস্ট ও সনদপত্র তুলে দেন। অনুষ্ঠানে যুব ও ক্রীড়া উপদেষ্টা, নৌপরিবহন উপদেষ্টা, প্রধান উপদেষ্টার প্রেস সচিবসহ সরকারের উচ্চপদস্থ কর্মকর্তারা উপস্থিত ছিলেন।




গণপ্রজাতন্ত্রী বাংলাদেশ সরকারের যুব ও ক্রীড়া মন্ত্রণালয়ের আয়োজনে প্রতিবছর সামাজিক ক্ষেত্রে অসামান্য অবদানের জন্য এই পুরস্কার প্রদান করা হয়। এবছর সারাদেশ থেকে মাত্র ১২ জন তরুণকে নির্বাচিত করা হয়েছে। শিক্ষা, বিজ্ঞান ও তথ্যপ্রযুক্তি ক্যাটাগরিতে নির্বাচিত দুইজনের মধ্যে একজন হলেন নলছিটির মো. খালেদ সাইফুল্লাহ। তিনি বরিশাল বিভাগ থেকে একমাত্র মনোনীত ব্যক্তি হিসেবে সম্মান অর্জন করেছেন।




খালেদ সাইফুল্লাহ ২০২০ সালে “তারুণ্যের নলছিটি” নামক সংগঠন প্রতিষ্ঠা করেন এবং সভাপতি হিসেবে নেতৃত্ব দিয়ে আসছেন। সংগঠনটি শিক্ষা, বিজ্ঞান, সচেতনতা, মানবিকতা ও নেতৃত্ব বিকাশে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অবদান রেখে চলেছে। তার নেতৃত্বে Team STEM স্থানীয় শিক্ষার্থীদের বিজ্ঞানচর্চায় উদ্বুদ্ধ করেছে। পাশাপাশি আন্তর্জাতিক অঙ্গনে তিনি “CARO” প্রতিষ্ঠা করে সেক্রেটারি জেনারেল হিসেবে তরুণ নেতৃত্ব বিকাশ ও বৈশ্বিক শাসনব্যবস্থার নতুন মডেল তৈরিতে কাজ করছেন। তার উদ্ভাবিত Youth Political Leadership Simulation Model তরুণদের হাতে-কলমে নীতি, নেতৃত্ব ও এডভোকেসি শেখাচ্ছে।




পুরস্কার গ্রহণের পর খালেদ সাইফুল্লাহ বলেন, মাধ্যমিক পর্যায় থেকেই তিনি দেশপ্রেম ও সামাজিক দায়বদ্ধতার চেতনায় বন্ধুদের নিয়ে স্বেচ্ছাসেবী কার্যক্রমে যুক্ত ছিলেন। এ অর্জন তার একার নয়, বরং যারা সবসময় পাশে থেকে সহযোগিতা করেছেন তাদের সবার সম্মিলিত প্রচেষ্টার ফল। তিনি এই পুরস্কার উৎসর্গ করেছেন জুলাই গণঅভ্যুত্থানের শহীদদের নামে।




প্রধান উপদেষ্টা ড. মুহাম্মদ ইউনূস অনুষ্ঠানে বলেন, তরুণ ও যুবকরা দেশের মূল চালিকাশক্তি। তারা যখন জেগে ওঠে তখন কোনো শক্তি তাদের দমিয়ে রাখতে পারে না। জুলাই গণঅভ্যুত্থানে তারই প্রমাণ মিলেছে। তিনি আরও বলেন, স্বেচ্ছাসেবা কেবল মানবকল্যাণ নয়, এটি আত্মউন্নয়ন, চরিত্র গঠন ও নেতৃত্ব বিকাশের এক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ মাধ্যম। তরুণদের মেধা, সৃজনশীলতা ও উদ্ভাবনী শক্তি দেশের চ্যালেঞ্জ মোকাবিলা করে একটি উন্নত বাংলাদেশ গড়ে তুলবে।




অ্যাওয়ার্ড অনুষ্ঠানে শিক্ষা, বিজ্ঞান, তথ্যপ্রযুক্তি ও কারিগরি ক্ষেত্রে অবদানের জন্য ঝালকাঠির মো. খালেদ সাইফুল্লাহ এবং গাইবান্ধার মো. শাহাদৎ হোসেনকে স্বীকৃতি দেওয়া হয়। পাশাপাশি যুব উন্নয়ন, জনসেবা, দেশপ্রেম, ক্রীড়া ও সংস্কৃতি ক্ষেত্রে অবদানের জন্যও বিভিন্ন জেলার তরুণদের পুরস্কৃত করা হয়। পুরস্কারপ্রাপ্ত প্রত্যেকে পেয়েছেন এক লাখ টাকা, একটি সম্মাননা ক্রেস্ট এবং সরকারি সনদপত্র।




খালেদ সাইফুল্লাহ তার বক্তব্যে জানান, ছোটবেলা থেকে বিভিন্ন সামাজিক কর্মকাণ্ডের মাধ্যমে তিনি যে পথচলা শুরু করেছিলেন, তা ধীরে ধীরে উপজেলা, জেলা হয়ে জাতীয় ও আন্তর্জাতিক অঙ্গনে পৌঁছেছে। “তারুণ্যের নলছিটি”, “CARO” ও “Team STEM”–এর ব্যানারে তার কাজ স্থানীয় থেকে বৈশ্বিক পর্যায়ে তরুণদের শিক্ষা, বিজ্ঞান, প্রযুক্তি ও নেতৃত্ব বিকাশে অগ্রণী ভূমিকা রাখছে।




বাংলাদেশ তরুণ কলাম লেখক ফোরামের মাধ্যমে খালেদ সাইফুল্লাহর সঙ্গে আমার পরিচয়। তখন থেকেই তার কাজগুলো নিবিড়ভাবে দেখেছি। তার একাগ্রতা, মেধা ও সৃজনশীলতা সত্যিই প্রশংসনীয়। লেখালেখি, সংগঠন গড়ে তোলা এবং তরুণদের উদ্বুদ্ধ করার ক্ষেত্রে তার অগ্রগতি অনুকরণীয়।




এ অর্জন শুধু খালেদ সাইফুল্লাহর নয়, বরং ঝালকাঠি তথা সমগ্র বরিশাল বিভাগের গৌরব। তরুণ প্রজন্মের জন্য তিনি হয়ে উঠেছেন প্রেরণার প্রতীক। রাষ্ট্রীয় এ স্বীকৃতি প্রমাণ করে, নিষ্ঠা ও কর্মনিষ্ঠা থাকলে তরুণরা সমাজে ইতিবাচক পরিবর্তন আনতে সক্ষম।
