Frequently Asked Questions
Is Eidok free?
Yes. Creating an account and using Eidok’s core features is free. Some optional extras, such as boosting posts or membership packages, may be paid; prices are always shown before you pay.
Who can join Eidok?
Anyone aged 13 or older, from any country. Some features, such as creating Pages and Groups or selling in the Marketplace, are for adults aged 18 and over.
Which languages does Eidok support?
Eidok is available in English and Bangla. Features such as Same Moment translate messages automatically, so you can talk to people who speak other languages.
How does “Tell your feed” work?
Type or say what you want in plain words — for example “only cricket today” or “less politics”. Eidok understands your request and filters your feed accordingly. You can change it again or reset to your normal feed at any time.
Is Same Moment safe?
Same Moment is designed with safety first. The person you meet sees only your first name, your country and your moment. Messages are checked automatically, and requests for phone numbers, addresses, social media accounts or money are blocked. Chats last ten minutes, you can end them at any time, and “Report & block” stops you from being matched with that person again.
Do I need a lot of mobile data to use Eidok?
No. Eidok is built to be light, and Data Saver mode reduces data usage further by loading lighter images and videos.
Can I use Eidok like an app on my phone?
Yes. Open eidok.com in your phone’s browser and choose “Install” or “Add to Home Screen”. Eidok will open like an app from your home screen.
I already have an Eye News BD account. Can I use it?
Yes. Choose “Continue with Eye News BD” on the sign-in page to create or link your Eidok account in one step.
I run an online shop. How do I bring it to Eidok?
You can create a Business Page and list your products. If your website is built on Metanoz, simply open Eidok Link in your Metanoz dashboard: your Page, products and blog posts are created automatically and stay in sync, and “Buy Now” sends customers to your website.
How does Eidok handle my data?
We explain everything in plain language in our Privacy Policy — what we collect, how AI features use information, who we share it with and the controls you have. We do not sell your personal information.
How do I report a problem?
